    Hello,
A time ago, the complete circuit diagram of the SAQ transmitter system was posted here in the forum for download
    A very nice thing.
Would it be possible to reduce the gigantic file size ?
That would be sufficient for “normal use” and save a lot of time.

    Another question:
After watching a few videos, the details become more and more important.
Would it be possible to post a picture of the right side of the control cabinet
where the names of switches and
    display instruments are shown ?

This would make it easier to understand the “start-up procedure” in detail.
There are pictures of the instruments on the Internet, but so far only
has been able to find out with difficulty that the instrument for the antenna current is at the top right.

Best wishes for the upcoming historical broadcast!
    Jens

      Dear Jens,
      Thanks for your interesting questions.
The “gigantic” circuit diagram is difficult to reduce in size, however, it is available in nine separate images in our online library, under historical documents / diagrams. Please remember that this diagram does not reflect the current state of the transmitter, as it has been modified numerous times over the past 100 years.
We are considering to publish modern function-based diagrams in our library that reflects the current functionality. Let´s us think about this.

In our online library, you can also find the current startup instruction, both in Swedish and English. Look under Valid SAQ operating instructions.
It contains all steps to start and stop the alternator, together with images of all switches etc. It may be of help for you to get a better understanding of how to run SAQ.

We are working on a general instrumentation description which will be made available when ready.

      Kind regards,
      Fredrik / Alexander association
