The scheduled Christmas Eve transmission from the World Heritage Grimeton Radio Station was a success. Operators from the Alexander association was able to start the old Alexanderson Alternator from 1924 without a ny trouble and send out Christmas greetings to the world.

The station building was full of visitors, enjoying some cake and coffee, as well as witnessing the startup procedure of the old transmitter.

Lars Kålland was at the morse key, delivering the Christmas message. This transmission was the grand finale for Lars, who has decided to retire from this duty. Thank You Lars for all your great work at the Grimeton Radiostation!
