Are you able to provide the following antenna-related information, please?

    1) What is the diameter and conductor (e.g. copper, steel, etc.) of the top-loading wires?

    2) Are the top-loading wires at 127 m or is that the top of the support mast and the top-loading wires are slightly lower?

    3) How much do the top-loading catenary wires sag by? Or what is the height of the top-loading wires half-way between each mast?

    4) What is the diameter of the cage of wires that form the near-vertical radiators? Also, what is the conductor (e.g. copper, steel, etc.)?

    Thanks in advance,

    Marcus

      Dear Fredrik

Thank you for responding and apologies for asking further.

Regarding the phosphor bronze top-loading wires, is the diameter 72.5 mm? Was it a typo with 7×2.5mm? The top loading wires are visible on photos showing all the masts, which makes me think they have a wider diameter.

Also, the vertical radiator going up from the inductors on towers 2-5 appear to be a cage of six or eight wires in photos. What is the diameter of the cage of wires? I assume they are also phosphor bronze?

      Thanks once again.

      Dear Marcus,
The antenna top distribution net is made from 8 pcs 7×2.5mm phosphor bronze wires. The 8 wires are mounted on isolators, hanging down from the top support structure. The sag between each tower is approx. 17m, depending on the temperature.
At each tower, there is a tuning coil, made from litz wire, 1.8m in height and 2.7m in diameter. On tower 1 and 6 the coil is located were the top network is going up/comming down. On tower 2-5 the tuning coil is connected to a near-vertical lead, connected to the top distribution net.

        Dear Marcus,
A phosphor bronze wire consists of 7 strands, each 2.5mm in diameter, twisted into a helix, forming a rope.
The vertical radiator in tower 2-5 is made from six thinner phosphor bronze wires, see image https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?curid=1296820, separated by a metal ring, 250mm in diameter.
